Sadly passed away on Friday April 10, 2009 at Baycrest Palliative Care Hospital at the age of 88. Beloved husband of the late Margaret. Loving father to Richard. Caring step-father of Jo-Anne. Proud grandfather of Katherine and Sasha, and great grandfather of Britney. A celebration of Doug's life will be held on Thursday, April 16, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street), with visitation an hour prior to service time. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
