Earl Gavin Miller

Passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 19, 2011 at Baycrest Hospital.

Beloved husband of Winnifred (nee Porter). Loving father of Beth (Greg) and David. Cherished Grandpa of Jenna (Kevin) and Ward. Survived by his sisters in law Aileen Coates (Keith), Myrle Porter and Doreen Porter, brothers Robert (Sheryl) and John (Sylvia) and predeceased by his brothers in law Jim and Tom. Earl will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Earl was a home builder and owned Gavro Construction. He was highly respected as a home builder and loved his work. A part of him was in each home he built, each one created as an artist creates a painting.

Friends may call on Thursday, June 23, 2011 from 2 - 4 & 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, June 24, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Forest Grove United Church (43 Forest Grove Drive). As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Toronto Harbour Light Ministries (160 Jarvis Street, Toronto, ON M5B 2E1) or Forest Grove United Church - Organ Fund (43 Forest Grove Drive, Toronto, ON M2K 1Z4) or to a charity of choice.
