For You Dad . . .



	 



	Dad will always be with us, despite this separation



	He will be remembered with love and gentle consolation



	 



	He came to Canada with true determination



	And with hard work and sacrifice he changed his occupation



	 



	Dad earned several degrees and valued education



	He set a great example and was a true inspiration



	 



	When help was needed with a quadratic equation



	Dad would show me how to do the calculation



	 



	A man of many talents, was our observation



	Art, music, cooking and gardening is just a short compilation



	 



	Going through the memories is like a celebration



	Of a life full of love and family dedication



	 



	The friendships made and stories told are an affirmation



	Of a man who was held in fond admiration



	 



	While witnessing Mom and Dad there was a mutual adoration



	Of sixty years together and so much collaboration



	 



	What the future holds for us is mere speculation



	So we need to live life to the fullest without any further hesitation.

We were brought up in the same house in Saligao, Goa, during our school days. I remember Edwin as one who was very good at sports, very witty, generous, and who loved to tease the elders in the house in an amusing way without hurting their feelings.

I remember Edwin as a man who shared much of what he had. As the Bible says, he never let his left hand know what his right hand was giving. May his soul rest in peace.

Our sincere condolences to Edwin's family. Edwin was a legend in the Goan community. We shall never forget our conversations with Edwin - he was truly a man of great passion and dedication.
