Passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, August 30. Dearest wife of Tom for 65 years. Loving mother of Harlene Jeffrey, Kelly Meehan (Mike), Michael and Mark. Cherished grandmother to David Jeffrey (Glenda), Chris Jeffrey (Monica), Sarah Sirk (Daniel), Emily Meehan, Michael Meehan and great-grandmother of five. Mom was happiest at home with her beloved Tom and her children enjoying Scrabble games and crossword puzzles. Betty was active with golf, bridge and volunteer work until a few years ago. She always enjoyed a good laugh. Cremation and a private ceremony will be held this week. In October we will celebrate mom's life with a memorial service. Date to be announced. In lieu of flowers donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
