Peacefully in her sleep on February 24, 2011 at Markham Stouffville Hospital after a long and courageous battle with Multiple Sclerosis. Beloved wife of William for 52 years. She will be greatly missed by Patrick Gilroy and her niece Elizabeth Gilroy. Predeceased by her loving sisters Jess and Maisie. Friends may call on Tuesday, March 1, 2011 from 1 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Funeral Service will follow at 2 p.m. in the R.S. Kane Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada.
