With great regret, on Friday, January 9, 2009 at North York General Hospital at the age of 61. Loving mother of Jennifer Gowling (Jay Moore) and Jillian Gowling (Mark Donnelly). Cherished grandmother of Maxwell Moore. Devoted daughter of Ruth and the late Gerald Tisdall. Proud sister of Marilyn, Nancy, Marjorie and Fred. Janet's selfless time and dedication to others will be greatly missed. A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, January 14, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Canadian Blood Services.
