Wife of the late Robert James McVicar, passed away peacefully at Gibson House, February 27, 2015 in her 102nd year. Elsie was the dear mother of Bob, Don and Bruce and mother-in-law of Marian and the late Linda and friend Elaine Mason. She was the caring grandmother of Patti McKay (Doug), Scott (Linda), David, Rob (Jill), Doug and Wendy McVicar-Lew (Tony). She was a very proud great-grandmother (Gran-Gran) of Amy, Kate, Nicholas, Lindsay, Allison, Drew, Danielle and Sarah. She will also be greatly missed by her nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Monday, March 2nd from 12 noon until time of Funeral Service at 1 p.m. in the Chapel at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home, 6150 Yonge Street (at Goulding, south of Steeles). In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Participation House, 9 Butternut Lane, Markham, Ontario L3P 3M1.
