It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Emidio Di Nino, peacefully at the age of 87. Emidio is survived by his wife of 62 years, Viola Di Nino (nee Pace), their children Enrico (Rosa) and John (Doreen). Proud Nonno of Gianluca, Alessia and Fabrizio. Emidio will be greatly missed and also remembered by his extended family and friends overseas, in the United States and in Canada. Visitation will be held on Monday, June 15th from 6-9 p.m. and Tuesday, June 16th from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home, 6150 Yonge Street (at Goulding, south of Steeles). Family and friends are invited to join in the celebration of his life at the Funeral Mass on Wednesday, June 17th at 9:30 a.m. at St. Paschal Baylon Roman Catholic Church, 92 Steeles Avenue West, Thornhill. Entombment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.
