Eva Thorn

Peacefully, after a courageous battle with cancer, Eva passed away on Monday, May 29, 2017 in her 59th year. Cherished wife of Cameron. Loving daughter of Margaret and Vasek. Dear sister of David and Karen (Bruce). Adoring aunt of Wesley and J.J.. Eva will be greatly missed by her many, many friends, extended family and her beloved “Tanky”. Eva was a wonderful cook, canner, and avid gardener who was passionate about all flowers and plants! She was a crooner and will be remembered for her beautiful voice. She always greeted everyone with her vibrant smile and there is no one that loved to host a party more than “E”.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 4, 2017 from 2-5 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge St., at goulding, south of Steeles). Cremation will take place. A Celebration of Eva’s Life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Dorothy Ley Hospice whose support enabled Eva to stay at home until the end.
