ZAHRA, Francis (Frank) Xavier passed away peacefully on October 31, 2008 at North York General Hospital at the age of 84. Beloved husband of Mary Zahra (nee Roberts), father of Michael (Judy), Paul, Pauline (Connie) of Liverpool, England. Grandfather of Bronwyn and Mandy, brother of Joseph (Sarah), and uncle of many nieces and nephews. Frank will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by his family and friends. He proudly served in the British Merchant Navy during WWII.
Family and friends may call on Wednesday, November 5, 2008 from 6-8 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, November 6, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Edward the Confessor R. C. Church(75 Churchill Avenue), followed by a private cremation. In lieu of flowers and as an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Parkinson Society of Canada
