It is with deep sadness, our family announces the passing of Gabriel De Acetis at home, on Wednesday January 16th, 2008, in his 70th year. Beloved husband of Dolores for over 46 years. Loving father of Diana and Robert. Survived by his dear sisters Dora and Lucia (Emilio) and dear brothers Abramo (Giovanna), Nicola (Anna) and predeceased by his brother Camillo his sister Maria and sister-in-law Delfina. Gabriel will be missed and lovingly remembered by his many nieces and nephews extended family and many friends.
Friends may call on Friday, January 18th, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Paschal Baylon Roman Catholic Church, (92 Steeles Avenue West), on Saturday January 19th, 2008 at 9:30 am. Private family entombment to follow at Holy Cross Catholic Mausoleum. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
