

Passed away on Monday afternoon, June 9, 2008 at North York General Hospital in his 96th year. Geoff was a member of the Royal Canadian Artillery during WWII and served with distinction in both Italy and Holland. He worked for an amazing 42 years with the Toronto Police.
Beloved husband of the late Joan Botsford (2006). He will be remembered by his nieces and nephews Lindsay Botsford, Tim Botsford, Kathy Foster, David and Betty Ann Hobson, Arthur Harris, Gail and Al Howlett and great-nieces and great-nephews Mark, Hawley and Laura Foster; MacArthur Hobson and Trisha and Keith Howlett. Predeceased by his first wife Marion Rumble (nee Browne) (1987). Close friend of Jennifer and Tom Browning and Bob Borden.
A consummate gentleman, loyal friend, lover of animals and travel. He will be missed.
Friends may call at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles) on Friday, June 13, 2008 from 12 noon until time of service at 1 o'clock. Interment to follow at Prospect Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to a charity of your choice
