Passed away on Thursday, November 11, 2010 at his home at the age of 81. Beloved husband of Gwendolyn. Loving father of Susan and Brian (Jo-Ellen). Loving grandfather of Matthew, Sarah and Christopher. George is survived by his sister Norma.
Friends may call on Saturday, November 13, 2010 from 6 - 9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, November 14, 2010 at 1 p.m. in the Chapel. Private family interment to take place Monday at York Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Charity of Choice.
