Peacefully, on Friday October 24, 2008 at Tall Pines Long Term Care in his 84th year. Beloved husband of the late Olga Jansen (2006). Loving father of Darrel (Donna), Radley (Sandra) and Renford (Mileidys). Cherished "Papa" of Emmanuel, Katland, Natasha, Ashley, Dustin, Hailey, Angelina and Tristan. Dear brother of Merlin Perera of Sri Lanka and dear brother-in-law to the late Bobby (Bernice - predeceased), Eroma (PK Jayawardhena - predeceased), Raphael, Mike (Yvonne) and Justin Alvis, Barbara (Vernon) Ferdinandz and Shirley (Andy - predeceased) Mustachi in Canada and the late Michael Perera and Merrill Alvis of Sri Lanka.
Friends may call on Sunday October 26th from 3-9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Paschal Baylon Roman Catholic Church (92 Steeles Avenue West), on Monday October 27, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery.
