We are deeply saddened to announce the peacefull passing of Georgina Puskar at the Hill House Hospice in Richmond Hill on Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at the age of 82. Georgina graduated from St. Joseph’s Hospital in Hamilton as a Registered Nurse in 1955. She was the devoted wife of the late John (2013) for 58 years. Lovingly remembered by her children, Ken (Shelley), Bill (Margarita) and Linda (Dave). A special Grandma to Michael, Jessica, Jennifer, Christine, Brian, and the late Caroline. Predeceased by her brother Joe (2013). She will be deeply missed by her sister and best friend, Anne and by her extended Canadian and Czech families. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 from 7-9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge St.). A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, February 16, 2017 at 10:30am at Blessed Trinity Roman Catholic Church (3220 Bayview Ave.). Interment to follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to Hill House Hospice or Canadian Blood Services.
