The service for your Dear Father/Grandfather/Uncle/Cousin was beautiful and allowed us to get to know all of his accomplishments and contributions to the lives of others.   Giovanni "Nino" has left a positive legacy of caring and compassion that lives on through his children, grand children, extended family, and friends.

Hanging out with Uncle Nino at the end of the COVID days.  Always a great reunion. Always a happy & uplifting day,  in the positive presence of Uncle Nino.  You have enriched all of our lives immeasurably.  I will miss you immensely.

On behalf of the Chandler family I am sending warm condolences on the passing of  Nino Campitelli. 
Marissa’s Christmas parties sometimes brought the Campitelli and Chandler extended families together and we fondly remember those happy events and meeting so many members of the Campitelli family.  
Treasure the many good memories of his long life. It is clear that he will be missed by many.

Nino was an incredible brother; a smart man with an amazing sense of humour.
Humour - A few years ago, when he went to Sunnybrook hospital in Toronto and was assigned to a room, he remarked: “Why are they putting me in a room with older people?!?”  He made me laugh!  I miss his phone calls: “Where are you, Adele!  Where are you hiding!”, I knew was Nino calling.  His humour was unforgettable.
Smart - In 1955, he graduated as a Civil Engineer from the University of Toronto.  He joined the provincial department of highways, and established a planning division for the department.  He was assigned to set up the office, hire the staff, and design the project. Nino was 47 years old at that time.
I will always cherish my memories of him, and I will miss his presence greatly.  He was an amazing brother!


Nino was an incredible person who touched our lives in an unforgettable way.  He was my Friend, my uncle, my Grandfather always ready to bring a smile to my face.
I have missed his daily walks on the streets, the talks over the fence, the talks in my garden while he smelt my Roses or Lavender.
Nino was an amazing person who has left behind so many wonderful memories.  
Our hearts go out to Marlene & fly as we mourn with you over the loss of your husband/father/Grandpa. He was one of a kind and will always be remembered in our prays.

It is with heavy hearts the news of Nino's passing reaches all of us in the Morton family.  We had the distinct pleasure of becoming very close Arran Cres neighbors and friends.  My parents, Tom and Jean shared many wonderful memories with Nino and Marlene over the years.  I know Tom/Jean and Nino's souls will find each other!  

I personally will not forget my chats with Nino as he passed by our house on the way to the tennis courts so very often!  He was always so kind and had such a warm smile...he had time for everyone.

I know my brother Barry had a wonderful and unique relationship with Nino over the many years of his still close friendship with Carl.  We are all grateful to have been even a small part of Nino's life.

My deepest sympathies to Marlene, Carl, Tara, Mark and all of the rest of your family and friends.
