Gwendolyn Grace Ellis

She is survived by her children Susan and Brian (Jo-Ellen) her grandchildren Matt (Sara), Sarah and Chris.

Gwendolyn is pre-deceased by her husband George Ellis, her parents Lloyd and Adelyne Soole and her siblings Rosalind Morton and Merle Soole.

Gwendolyn will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother who was devoted to family and loved every moment she spent with them. She was an avid backyard gardener who took enormous pride in everything that she planted and displayed. She was committed to her charitable work that assisted the Salvation Army.

The family would like to express deep thanks to the staff at North York General Hospital for their compassionate care.

Visitation will take place on Friday, August 18, 2023 from 9:30am until time of Funeral Service at 10:30am at Kane-Jerrett Funeral Homes, 8088 Yonge Street, Thornhill. A private burial will follow.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks you to consider a donation to the Salvation Army, the Canadian Cancer Society or the Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guides in her memory.
