Halina Ginter

(née Feist) 88 years. Passed away peacefully June 26, 2008 surrounded by family. Born and educated in Warsaw, Poland. Emigrated to Venezuela in 1948 and then Canada in 1956. Beloved wife of the late Henry Ginter. Loving mother of Mary (Jan), Henry, Janet (Mark), and predeceased daughter Eva and son Mark. Dear grandmother of Julia, Basia and Laura. Cherished aunt to families Felice, Ginter and Betz in Venezuela and Zabehlicky and Kloc in Canada and the United States. Faithful member of Church of St. Luke - Lutheran and St John's Polish Evangelical Lutheran Church of Toronto. She was deeply loved by her friends and family and will be truly missed. Friends may call on Wednesday July 2nd from 7 to 9 p.m. at the R. S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). Funeral Service will be held on Thursday July 3rd at 11 a.m. at The Church of St. Luke - Lutheran (visitation from 10:00 a.m.) 3200 Bayview Avenue (north west corner of Finch and Bayview). Interment York Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations to The Temmy Latner Centre for Palliative Care would be appreciated.
