in the 70th year of her religious life.
She is predeceased by her twin sister, Sister Hyacinth CSJ,
her sisters Myrtle, Marion, Patricia, Rita and Muriel
and by her parents, Charles Chapin and Johanna Morgan.
She will be missed by her nieces and nephews and her sisters in community.
Sister Margaret Rose entered the Sisters of St. Joseph in 1944,
at the same time as Sister Hyacinth.
In 1946 she began ten years of varied ministry to the community
in Toronto, Oshawa and St. Catharines.
She then served for seventeen years in the ministry of teaching music in Rosetown SK, Kitimat BC, Toronto and Thorold ON.
In 1974 Sister Margaret Rose began nineteen years of ministry
at St. Michael's Hospital in the Main Office.
She then moved to Morrow Park where she assisted in the Administration Offices.
Since 2001 Sister Margaret Rose's main ministry has been
one of suffering and prayer for the needs of the world.
Her wake will be held at the Sisters of St. Joseph's residence at
2 O'Connor Drive, Toronto
on Friday, October 4, 2013 from 3:30 p.m.
with a prayer vigil at 7:00 p.m.
Mass of Christian burial will take place at 2 O'Connor Drive
on Saturday, October 5, at 10:30 a.m.
Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
