Helen Heels

Heels, Helen Margaret, 54, of Barrie, Ontario passed away on Sunday January 14, 2018. Helen was born in Toronto to Barbara and the late George Heels on August 14, 1963. She lived in Barrie, worked for the Simcoe Catholic School Board and attended Georgian College.

Helen is survived by her lovely daughter Melissa, ‘Nona’ to Alexis, Lucas and Charlie, daughter to Barbara, sister to Marie (Ilan), Patricia (Doug) and Lisa as well as aunt to Corey, Spencer, Marlowe and Larkin. She is also survived by her partner Rob who stood by her and her crazy life, her best friend Lisa Haga, her ‘second daughter’ Elaine, plus too many family and friends to be listed.

Helen was a force to be reckoned with, the life of the party and a woman who loved all the people in her life.

Friends may call on Saturday, January 20, 2018 from 1:00-5:00 pm at the R. S. Kane Funeral Home for a Commemorative Gathering. Memorial donations may be made to Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of your choice.
