Auntie Helen was the definition of gentle, compassionate, giving and kind. Her sweet demeanor was truly a thing of beauty and she had so much love to share she didn't know how to be any other way but genuinely loving to all that she came into contact with. I am heartbroken over losing her. Helen was closer to me than family and more important to me than a friend. It is an unbelievable tragedy for such a beautiful life to have ended far too soon. I will carry with me the endless memories Helen and I shared together and with our families. Morris - the news of Helen's passing has come as a seismic shock to Mahvash , to me and to the children . To lose someone so vibrant in her prime - who has always been so loving , so caring , and so considerate , and such a vital part of our life's unfolding events throughout the years , is unbearably cruel and like suddenly losing a part of your soul . Moreover ,for us the tragedy has become compounded by not having been able to take part in her final rites and honours . We are truly heartbroken for you and Nappy and Sharky , and despite anything else , we want you to understand that we sincerely desire to assist and to be there for all of you in any way that we can at this most difficult period of time in your lives . How did we ever allow the joyful and heartfelt relationship that once existed between our families , to fall from our grasp - and to deteriorate into such bitterness and mean spiritedness instead ? There was once so much laughter and high minded happiness that flowed so freely between all of us - and now with Helen gone - there will always be avoid - except for what we will always retain in our collective memories . Morris, Natalie and Mark…my heart breaks at the thought of what you are enduring at this difficult time. Helen’s passing has brought a wave of memories rushing back to me. She would often call me to help with her computer, I’d arrive and she’d have this smile on her face, almost devious looking like she hid the cookie jar and was daring me to find it. It took me a while but I think she just wanted to chat. She was a person that was genuinely interested and cared for the people around her, their well being and their happiness. You know she once tried to set me up on a date. How cute was that! Helen’s passing will leave a void in the hearts of all those who knew her and it is with a tearful smile that I say that the memory of her will be forever held dear in my heart. I was deeply saddened to hear about the untimely death of Dr. Jazrawy. She was a truly beautiful human being with a generous heart and a beautiful manner. She always made one feel special. My heartfelt condolences to Dr. Goldfinger and his family.

Morris - I was shocked and saddened when i learnt that Helen had passed away this weekend. I have fond memories of her always helping Elsa with her mammograms at Edward Street and how they always shared stories about the children. Not only was she an excellent radiologist, she was a caring individual. It always seems unfair or cruel when just as she should be getting ready to enjoy life, it is suddenly taken away from her too soon. The staff just adored her. Her life was unfortunately short but her contribution to her patients' welfare was immense.
