After a lengthy and brave battle with cancer at Sunnybrook Palliative Care Unit, on Wednesday, September 3, 2003 at the age of 65. Beloved mother of Brad Ross and his partner Pam Davis, devoted mother-in-law of Karen Wood, cherished Nana of Jeremy and Chelsea, loving sister of Alex and Joan Otten, dear aunt of Debbie and Mike Lawley and great-aunt to Kara and Krista. She will be sadly missed by her lifelong friend Arlene Robertson as well as many other friends including the furry ones. Deepest thanks to the kind and compassionate health care staff of K-1 East. Friends may call on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). Funeral Service will take place at Saint Matthew the Apostle, Oriole Anglican Church, 80 George Henry Blvd. (Don Mills/Sheppard) on Sunday at 2:30 pm.
