Herant Bablanian passed peacefully on February 18, 2022 at home. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Lucine, their children Maral (Steve), Nora (Vahe), his grandchildren, Chloe, Natalie, Lucine and Arpi.
Herant has gone to rest with his beloved son Ara, his parents Hovannes and Khanem Bablanian and his brothers Hagop (Marie), Nerses (Anahid) and Boghos (Henriette).
Herant will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle who was devoted to his family. He ran an independent business for many years, and after retirement travelled much of the world with his wife, Lucine. He loved connecting with and bringing together Bablanians from far and wide to share the family history and enjoy our rich Armenian culture and traditions. His charm and genuine interest in people made him a friend to all.
Visitation will be held at St. Mary Armenian Apostolic Church, 45 Hallcrown Place, North York, Ontario at 10:30 am on Thursday February 24, 2022.
Funeral services will follow at 11:00 am.
