At home with family, passed away on March 24, 2009 at the age of 88. Cherrished husband of Mildred for 64 years. Dearest dad to Anita, and Alan. Proud "poppa" of Tami, Sean, and Eric. Survived by sister Isobel, and predeceased by brother Ross. Fondly remembered by nieces, nephews, family and friends. Retired from Shell Canada, and fifty year member of Lansing United Church. Friends may call on Thursday, March 26, 2009 from 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Memorial Service will be held at the Chapel on Friday, March 27, 2009 at 11 a.m. Private Interment at a later date. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Charity of your Choice.
