Irene Clarke

Loving wife of the late Gordon Clarke, mother to Kathryn and Brian (Beth) and unofficial grandma and mom to many.

An employee of Bell as a telephone operator for 31 years, she transferred, connected and dispatched innumerable calls from all over the world.

She took pleasure in the simple things in life. She loved her garden, spending time with her family and friends and the many summers at the cottage. She brought joy and comfort to all those whom she touched with her warm smile, compassionate demeanor and generous nature.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 23 from 6 – 9 pm at the R.S. Kane Home (6150 Yonge St. Toronto).

A Funeral Service will be conducted on Thursday, May 24 at 11 am in the R.S. Kane chapel. Interment will follow at the York Cemetery in Willowdale.
