(Aunt Rene)-Peacefully on Thursday, August 26, 2004, in her 76th year, surrounded by her loving family. Beloved sister of Fred (Bette) and Bob (Iola), and sister-in-law of Larry. Irene is predeceased by her brother Jim (Chris) and sister Dorothy. Adored Aunt Rene to Fred, Jim, Shelagh, Doug, Kathleen (predeceased), Cara and Barb, and their families. Her grace, generosity and humour will be deeply missed by all of her family, friends and neighbours. Friends may call on Monday from 7 to 9 pm at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel on Tuesday, August 31, 2004 at 11 am. If desired, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
