Isabel Moreno de Alva

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Isabel at the age of 88. Predeceased by her husband Meliton Alva, brother Francisco Moreno and parents Filiberto Moreno and Tomasa Jaramillo. Survived by daughter Irma Montes Hussey, son-in-law Michael Hussey, son Hugo Alva, daughter-in-law Tere Prego, grandchildren Amy and Roberto Hussey, Laura and Nuria Alva and Rocio Alva Prego, brothers Cuauhtemoc, Herbert and Marte Moreno and numerous family in Mexico. A wonderful woman, mother and teacher who will be missed by all who knew her. Family and friends will be received on Wednesday June 4, 2014 from 3 - 7 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home, 6150 Yonge Street (at Goulding, south of Steeles). The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to the staff at Seniors' Health Centre. In lieu of flowers donations in Isabel's memory may be made to the Alzheimer Society (www.alzheimertoronto.org).
