God must've needed another angel... My beloved Auntie Isabel passed away tonight after fighting for so long & so hard, better than any gladiator of life in recent memory. I've kept quiet online about this for the most part, supporting her & her daughter, my incomparable cousin Tracey Miller, (also one of the most dedicated & strongest women I've ever known) as best as I can. What only my younger brother Charlie Errington & I knew about Auntie Isabel was that she & Tracy saved my life a couple of times over when I was a street kid here in Toronto. During a time when I painted my face, my nails, dyed my long hair black, wore nothing but black leather & generally was treated as a complete outcast by both family & other street youth, Auntie Isabel & Cousin Tracy didn't care what I looked like, how I dressed, or what I did. As far as they were concerned, I was family. Period. Auntie Isabel once overheard me say that I was mad at my mother whom I had not spoken to in some time. I'll never forget her words. "Don't you ever back talk your mother. Ever. She gave you life, no matter what's happened, she loves you. You repay her by getting your act together, prove them all wrong. Cuz I bet you she's still rooting every day for you." After a chance meeting with my uncle, George Hamilton IV, a few weeks later, I thought of Auntie Isabel's words. Her late husband, John, you see, was best friends with my father, Harold Errington, until his passing. Auntie Isabel & cousin Tracey always made sure I was OK, no matter my social status. Charlie & I used to love to go over, watch hockey & wrestling videos, listen to funny stories about my father's youth, how much respect they had for my mother, Joanne Vandervlag. Through them I learned what it was to struggle, to fight, never give up, to be tenacious in everything, & how being 'overly' passionate, about anything or anyone, whether it be for family, friends, a silly hockey team or superstar, music, or even a small passage in a book, is better than being or believing in nothing at all. Auntie Isabel, like her daughter Tracey, has always been an example of life; living & loving every minute of it; never fretting on stupid materialistic crap like money or possessions or status; never judging others, including yourself; & always being there for those who need it. No matter what. She also showed me its not always how big the dog is in a fight, but how big the fight is in the dog. To the very last, she fought, bravely & without complaint, kicking the Reaper in the butt every time. Like my mothers mom, my grandmother Jean "Nanny" Post, it seemed as though she decided it was time. Above all, no matter how hard or bad it got, she held onto her dignity. Something I will never forget as long as I am blessed enough to be here. I remember her last words to me, "Love ya Jeremy, be good". She will always be in my heart, & with all of us. Those of us lucky enough to have known & loved her will all unconditionally be able tell the next generation the kind of woman she was, how if each of us embodied just a fraction of her heart, this world would be a better place. I see every day that she passed this trait to her daughter, Tracey, & hope that more people turn out to be like these two exceptional role models of love, sacrifice, tenacious compassion & fierce devotion. I close my eyes & see her smile, envisioning my Uncle John waiting for her at the gates, taking her hand in his, walking together once again, this time, eternally. Tonight, I'll choose a song to sing for you, hope its something you'll like smile emoticon I love you, so much, & will miss you Auntie Isabel, always & forevermore, your nephew Jim Be Good ;')

I shared many coffees, chats and laughs with Isobel which I will always remember. She was indeed a very special lady. May the road rise to meet you, May the wind be always at your back, May the sun shine warm upon your face, The rains fall soft upon your fields and, Until we meet again, May God hold you in the palm of His hand. ISOBEL, JOHN AND TRACEY WERE OUR NEIGHBOURS AND BEST FRIENDS OF THE FAMILY WHEN WE LIVED ON SHEPPARD.  THE FUN AND LAUGHFTER HAD BY ALL WILL ALWAYS BE REMEMBERED FOR A LIFETIME.  WE ALL MISS YOU ISOBEL.

Two days ago, I told my mom that I loved her for the last time. Two months ago she walked me down the isle, and gave me away. I never thought that would happen, and when it did I was so happy to have her standing beside me.



	 



	She wasnt just my mom, she was my long time and very best friend. As you all know she had the fire in her. But you gave her a baby anminal or a human baby and she melted. A few weeks ago she melted with seeing her adopted great neice Majel Persaud. Majel brought happnes to the day and a smile on Auntie Bella's face.



	We will all love and miss you, Mady and Charlie are looking for you, Bob miss's ruffing up your hair, I miss my best friend. Aunt Pat miss's her sister for a coffee....But dad, Smitty, Key, Mandy, Odie, Aj, Jazz all are having a good time....love and miss you all....sleep well, no more pain. no more pain. xoxoxo

A funeral is not a day in a lifetime,



	it is a lifetime in a day.. and age is merely the amount of years people were able to enjoy her.



	I remember Aunt Isobels unmistakable laugh.



	So happy for the visit at the family reunion 6 years ago in Stouffville.

My childhood is filled with memories of the love and laughter Isobel shared with me. I felt so welcome in her home and spent so much time with Tracey. She loved to holler out TRACEY when she needed something. She was guaranteed one of us would answer. Always and forever in my heart.

Words can not state how we love you, you have always had to be a strong person, and you have been.



	You would give a person the shirt off of your back if they needed it...But If that person treated you wrong...be prepaird to have payback given like you have never seen it.



	Mom we want to let you know that all 4 of us love you to the moon and back. Mady has done nothing but lye on your bed, Charley walks around looking for you, Bob missis bugging you, and I miss your company and you buuging me... 



	You are no longer in pain for a change, you can see dad, and friends and family, you pior animal babies are all happy that you have come to see them.. Down on earth we miss you but the heavens just got an angel with attitude.....
