DOUGHERTY, James Edward-Born in Mimico, Ontario, February 11, 1926, departed peacefully March 29, 2003. Resided in North York for many years and briefly in Thornhill. Survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Florence Hastings Dougherty, also brother Hugh Dougherty and sister Theresa Dougherty and nephews Michael and Stephen Dougherty. Friends may call at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles) on Friday, April 25, 2003 from 7-9 pm. Prayers in the Chapel on Saturday at 11 am. Interment Mount Hope Cemetery, Toronto.
