Betty passed away at York Central Hospital after a short illness on Saturday September 12, 2009. She will be forever missed by Bob, her loving husband of sixty three years, her children; son Jamie, son Dugald(Lynn), daughter Nancy Merkel(David). Grandchildren Duncan and Colin Cameron(Lisa Davison), Graham Cameron, Leigh, Sandy and Sophie Cameron, Andrew and Eric Merkel. She graduated from Bishop Strachan School and the University of Toronto with a B.A. and a Diploma in Child Study. She was an active member of The Badminton and Racquet Club of Toronto. Remembrance Service to be arranged at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Bishop Strachan School or York Central Hospital Foundation.
