Jane Elizabeth Campbell

THORNHILL – Jane Elizabeth Campbell, 87, passed away peacefully at MacKenzie Health Hospital, Monday, November 23, 2020, in Thornhill, Ontario, Canada. Her dear friend Sebouh was by her side from the time Jane was admitted in early November for which we are most grateful.

Born August 29, 1933 in Toronto , Canada, she was the daughter of deceased Elwood and Lenamae Campbell and sister to the late W. Donald Campbell.

Jane was survived by her two nieces, Karen Reilly of San Diego, CA and Martha Prue of Naples, FL.

Jane loved to travel. She went on several safaris, skied in the Swiss Alps, rendezvoused in Paris, enjoyed Rio, Colorado and the South Pacific just to name a few. Piano, however, was Jane’s passion. Mozart, Beethoven, Bach; she could play them all, and play them well! Jane continued to take lessons throughout her adult life. In fact, she believed you could never “master” the piano. You could only sharpen your skills. She was still taking lessons well into her seventies and it wasn’t until she carried an oxygen tank that she gave up her beloved lessons.
