Passed away on Tuesday, August 26, 2008 in Toronto at the age of 86. Beloved wife of Kenneth. Loving mother of Douglas (Dawn), Brian (Mildred) and Joanne. Cherished grandmother of Shannon (Sonny), Michael, Jeffrey and Adam and great-grandmother of Ava and Emmalee. Jean will be fondly remembered by her many family and friends. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 28, 2008 from 6-9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). A private funeral will take place. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
