She is the daughter of the late Norman Murray and Anne Walke. Her three brothers, Wallace, Fr. Leo and Norman predeceased her. She is survived by many nieces and nephews and a large extended family. Throughout her long life Sr. Janet served as both an educator and a hospital administrator. She was well respected in the health care field, receiving the Order of Ontario in 1989. Her wake will be at St. Joseph's Convent, 3377 Bayview Avenue, Willowdale, from 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 13th, with a prayer vigil at 7:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday, March 14th, at 10:30 a.m. followed by interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
