Passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 7, 2010 at home with her family by her side at the age of 87. Beloved wife of Charles for sixty five years. Loving mother of Derek (Sharon), Gordon (Louise), Ian (Suzanne) and Jeanette Martin (Douglas). Wonderful grandmother to Derek Jr. (Stacey), Simon (Bronwyn), Anne Corser (Aaron), Evan (Genoa), David, Elizabeth, Peter, Lydia, James, Hope, David, Rebekkah and Micah. Great Grandmother to Riley, Kendall and Ryley. Friends may call on Saturday, October 9, 2010 from 7 - 9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Funeral Service will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, October 10, 2010 at The Salvation Army North York Temple (25 Centre Avenue).
