Passed away peacefully, at her home of 11 years, Lansing Retirement Residence on Sunday, November 19, 2017 at the age of 97 1/2. She was born in Lower Millstream, NB, daughter of the late Walter & Charlotte (nee Myles) McAuley, brother of the late G.E. Myles McAuley. Jean was a proud WWII R.C.A.F. Veteran and was very active in the RCL Branch #66. She will be fondly remembered by may nieces, nephews, friends, and caregivers. Visitation will held on Saturday, December 2, 2017 from 12:30 – 1:30 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge St., at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Funeral Service will follow in the Chapel at 1:30 p.m. Interment York Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Tony Stacey Centre for Veterans Care.
