Jean Gradson

Passed away peacefully at St. Michael's Hospital on Saturday April 14, 2012 at the age of 82. She is survived by her children John, Jo-Anne and her husband Ken Gray, Jim, Janice, Jack and William; her sister Edie and her grandchildren Chris, Amanda and Adam. She will be deeply missed by all. Predeceased by her parents Vera and Harold, her brothers Jim and Fred and the love of her life Porky. Jean retired from the Fred Victor Centre after 36 years of dedicated service. In honour of mother's day a gathering to celebrate Jean's life will take place on Saturday May 12, 2012 at the Royal Canadian Legion - Branch 10 (1083 Pape Avenue / south of O'Connor) between the hours of 1:00 and 3:00 p.m. A Private Family Graveside Service will be held on Monday May 14, 2012. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to either the Autism Society of Ontario or to the Lions Foundation of Canada - Autism Assistance Dog Guides would be greatly appreciated by the family. A special thank you goes out to the wonderful doctors and nursing staff on the critical care and palliative care units at St. Michael's Hospital. Greatness comes in many forms, hers was the love she gave and received.
