Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 10, 2008 at Martindale Gardens Retirement Residence, Milton in her 91st year. Predeceased by her beloved husband Fred. Loving mother of Sandra Elizabeth and her husband Ian Deslauriers of Ennismore and Wendy Jean and her husband Allan Jamieson of Milton. Devoted grandmother of Adam (Ginette), Jennifer, and Paul Deslauriers, and Anne and Marion Jamieson and great-granmother of Alex and Julie. Predeceased by her sisters Edna Maxted, Frances Griffiths, Elizabeth Dover, and her brother George Dover. Jean and Fred volunteered all of their lives to improve the community of Willowdale and were longstanding members of Lansing United Church. Friends may visit at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles) on Wednesday, June 18, 2008 from 12-1 p.m. with a memorial service to follow at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Hearing Society or Lansing United Church.
