Jess and I met in 1982 at 3 Traffic. It was the first time I ever saw and heard a big, tall and white man with a Jamacian accent. Jess and I have been friends ever since we met. I will miss his stories and humour but mostly, his insights about life and people. May each of you find strength in the Lord at this sad moment in your lives.

I shall always remember "Dickie" from the early days at PAA at the airport in Kingston, Jamaica. He was so friendly with such a terrific sense of humour. May he rest in peace. Patrick "Paddy" Chung

I learned this afternoon that Jess had passed away and was saddened by this news. We worked together for many years at 3 Traffic. He was there when I arrived in 1974 and was still in the Hit and Run when I transferred out in 1985. I will always remember Jess as a big man with a big smile, a big voice, a big sense of humour and a big heart. I am sorry that I am away and will not be able to attend the funeral service in order to pay my true respects to this wonderful comrade and fellow. I'll be praying for Jess and his family. This is obviously a very sad time but I remember the big voice and the big smile of Jess. We both worked out of 3 District Traffic around 1962-1969 and although I haven't seen him since his happy go lucky manner comes to mind. He was a good copper and a pleasure to work with. I worked with Jess at 3 Traffic and it was an enjoyable time he was a good friend and coworker he will be missed.

So sorry to hear of this. I had the pleasure to work with Jess at 3 Traffic, when I was a rookie We went fishing a few times and had a great time. He will be missed by his family, I am sure. Always pleasant memories of him. Mike Lye. 6365 (retired)
