Passed away peacefully at the cottage on Lake Couchiching on August 21, 2014 at the age of 80. Beloved wife of Gil for 53 years. Loving mother of Peter, Patricia (Robert MacLeod), Carol (Patrick Inwood), and Janet (Ab Berrey). Dear Nana of Tory, Scott, Caitlin, Kirsten, Hanna, Justin, Tyler, Ben and Luke. Survived by her sister Helen Blainey, and predeceased by brother Joseph and sisters Marion, Bebe and Rita. She loved to spend time at the cottage and will be sadly missed by her family and many friends. Visitation will be held at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home, 6150 Yonge St. (at Goulding, south of Steeles), on Monday, August 25, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at Blessed Trinity Church, 3220 Bayview Ave. on Tuesday, August 26, 2014 at 10am. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
