It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Jock at the age of 62. Beloved husband of Susanne. Loving father of Adam. In retirement Jock enjoyed nothing better than being at the cottage with family and friends. That Dear Jock. The most kind and thoughtful generous gentleman. Just plain yummy sweetness. Always was, never changed. My sympathy to Susanne, Adam and all Jocks family. And special hugs for his old buddies. My heart breaks for you all. 💔

Dear Susanne, Adam, and Jock's extended lottery family...
Please accept my heartfelt condolences. Whenever I would attend Wintario draws, Jock would go above board to make my visits memorable. He was the kindness and nicest person a friend could ask for. As I grew older from the those Wintario days, Jock and I stayed in touch. He always found time to answer questions on the games and took a personal interest in how I was doing. I'll always take pride in knowing him. Jock had given me a Wintario lottery ball back in 1989. It's one of my most favourite gifts that holds a special memory...as well as the many times I got to visit with him over the years. I will miss him dearly. My deepest sympathy to everyone.

Jock was a kind, thoughtful, smart and treated everyone with respect. I was lucky enough to work with him during the Wintario Days at Global Television. I hope these tributes bring some comfort to his family and friends....

Well, I can’t say enough about my friendship with Jock. Since the age of 5 we’ve been friends and Jock was always there for me and for everyone he knew. He always was positive, happy, caring and friendly! I hate to speak of Jock in the past, I will truly miss him, my lifelong friend.

I used to work with Jock. He was one of the most genuinely nicest and happiest people you'd ever have the pleasure of meeting. They don't make them like Jock any more. He was one of a kind.

We are all so sorry to hear about the passing of Jock. The five of us have such wonderful memories of him...... from Thanksgiving dinners to Phil's backyard birthday parties to stopping in to visit with him at the cottage and helping Jeff get him M driver's licence. Jock was always so happy and full of life. He will be truly missed but not forgotten. God bless you Jock.

Anytime during the winter, whenever I’d be out shovelling snow, I’d see him walk out of the house on the coldest of days with a smile on his face and he’d be wearing a t shirt and shorts. Always very happy and pleasant
