Passed away, of natural causes, on September 10, 2010 at his home at the age of 78. Beloved husband of Shirley (nee Schultz). Loving father of Rob, Brian and Gary (Evelyn). Devoted grandfather, Poppa Jack, will be greatly missed by his grandchildren DJ, Adam, Krista, Lukas and Alexa. Beloved brother of Don (Linda) and Jim (Viola). He will also be missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. Friends may call on Tuesday, September 14, 2010 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday, September 15, 2010 from 2:30 - 3:30 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, September 15, 2010 at 3:30p.m. in the chapel. Cremation to follow. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Canadian Lung Association.
