Died on Friday, May 18th, 2007 at North York General Hospital, in his 76th year. Beloved husband of Barbara for 34 years. Loving father of Chris and his wife Lori, Margot and her husband Rob, Lynn and her husband Rob and Wendy and her husband Lawrence. Cherished Poppa to Clarissa, Vanessa and Amanda; Jeremy and Kyle; Jamie and Wesley; and Lee and Lauren. Survived by his dear brother Alan and his wife Joyce. John will be lovingly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Friends may visit on Wednesday, May 23rd, 2007 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home, (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). Donations may be made to the Lung Association - Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis Research.
