Passed away on Sunday, March 28, 2010 at Baycrest Hospital at the age of 81. Beloved husband of Jean for 57 years. Loving father of Mari (Lynton) Parkins, Gord (Anne), Margaret McDonnell (Bob), Jim (Carolyn), and Jean (Ted) Bondi and father-in-law of Joe McDonnell. Cherished grandfather Nicole, Jason, John, Sandra, Karen, Laura, Shannon, and Amber and great-grandfather of Spencer. Predeceased by his brother James 'Windy'. Jack was a longtime member of H.A.S.C. Friends may call on Wednesday, March 31, 2010 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, April 1, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel. Interment to follow at York Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society.
