Born August 4, 1939, and passed away peacefully in his sleep on April 1, 2006, after having shown great courage and dignity in his valiant battle with cancer. Son of the late John Jacob (J.J.) Schafer and the late Jacqueline Marie Schafer, brother of the late Robert Milner Schafer (Herta), adored Uncle of Jacqueline M. Schafer-Kopackov (Vladimir), and a very special Great Uncle of Olivia and Alexia.
A retired employee of Agway Metals Inc. A life long member of The BuckLake Hunt Club in Haliburton, Ontario. A proud member, for many years with The Trillium Cadillac & LaSalle Club. He leaves behind a great many life long friends, who will miss him.

Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Toronto, Ontario.
