

José is survived by his sons Martin, Joseph (Linda); Lolo to Braden and Spencer; and granddogs Valentine and Freddy who fought for time on his lap. He is missed immensely.
An attorney in his native Philippines, José second career was as a Gallery Attendant at the Museum of Canadian Contemporary Art (MOCCA). Joining the organization back when it was the Art Gallery of North York, José was a fixture with the museum for over two decades and much-loved by the MOCCA community.
Family and friends are invited to say goodbye at R.S. Kane Funeral Home, 6150 Yonge St, Toronto, on Friday, February 5, from 1 to 3 pm and 6 to 9 pm. A funeral mass will take place at St. John XXIII Parish, 150 Gateway Blvd, Toronto on Saturday, February 6 at 1 pm. All are welcome.
Donations in José’s memory can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Heart & Stroke Foundation, or the Kidney Foundation of Canada .
