Joseph Attard

Passed away peacefully at home in his 92nd year. Joe is survived by his beloved wife and companion of 63 years, Beatrice Attard (nee Vella). Loving father and Dad to Michael (Osuk), John (Wil) and Ann Marie and cherished Grandad to Andrew (aka Jack Dylan). Joe will be held dear in the hearts of his sisters Vickie, Lucy, Helena (Chris), brother Frank and of his many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by his sister Carmella. To those who knew him, Joe will always be remembered for his kindness and compassion and having no greater joy than spending time with his family and friends. He was well known for his love of adventure and enjoying simple pleasures such as riding his bike, collecting wood and planting trees. Joe believed in giving back through his many years of volunteering with the Knights of Columbus, Good Shephard Ministries and St. Edward's Parish. Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 15th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home, 6150 Yonge Street (at Goulding, south of Steeles). Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, June 16th at 10 a.m. at St. Edward the Confessor Roman Catholic Church, 75 Churchill Avenue, Toronto. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to Good Shepherd Ministries.
