With great sadness we announce that Joseph De Miglio passed away peacefully on May 18, 2025, at home. He was born on July 24, 1938, to Francesco and Genoveffa De Miglio in Aprigliano, Cosenza, Italy.
He will be deeply missed by his partner Theodora Streitwieser and his brothers Rocco (Rosalinda), Sergio (Carol).
Joe was a caring and supportive Uncle to his nieces Jennifer (Edward), Sarah (Robert) and nephews Matthew (Kevin), Mark (Laura) and great Uncle to one grandniece and five grandnephews.
Joe had a long career with the Federal Government assisting many people in finding employment.
He loved his many trips to Florida as well as enjoying playing card games, billiards. Joe was an outstanding bowler, a creative cook and an excellent ballroom dancer.
His presence will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on in the hearts of all he knew and touched.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in honour of Joseph De Miglio can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
