JOHNSTON, Joseph Alfred-Suddenly at home on Tuesday, May 20, 2003, in his 82nd year. Joseph, beloved husband to Betty for 45 years. Loving father to Carol and her husband John Bolton and Joanne and her husband Sean Brennan. Cherished grand-dad to Julie, Michael and Richard. Joseph will be fondly remembered by his niece Jean and her husband Jerry Truss and family in Northern Ireland. Friends will be received at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles), on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held at St. Theodore Of Canterbury Anglican Church, 111 Cactus Avenue, on Friday, May 23rd, 2003 at 1 o'clock. Interment York Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
