Passed away suddenly after a courageous battle with cancer on January 9, 2008. Bob joins his beloved late wife Katherine Ann (Kay) (nee Aiken) who predeceased him on January 2, 2008. Bob and Kay were an inseparable team for 55 years. Dear parents of Karen and her husband Tom Meisner, and Leslie and her partner Tom Hosking. Grandparents of Julie, Lindsay and Thomas (TJ). Bob was predeceased by his brother George and sister Dorothy. Kay is the sister of Herbert and Gerald Aiken. A memorial service to celebrate their lives will be held on Friday January 18, 2008 at 3pm at the Jerrett Funeral Home – Vaughan Chapel, 8088 Yonge St., Thornhill (Yonge St. and Royal Orchard Blvd.). Friends will be received 1 hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, donations to the North York General Hospital – Freeman Palliative Care Centre, 4001 Leslie Street, Toronto, ON, M2K 1E1 would be greatly appreciated.
