Born September 19, 1928, to Sarah Ann York and Wilfred Greenwood of Carcroft, England, Kathleen was a sister to her much loved brothers, George & Harry.
F. Harold Waller (deceased) and Kathleen enjoyed a long and happy married life of 45 years. Harold and Kathleen had two children. She is survived by her sons Martyn (Susan) and Michael (Tammie). They have two grandchildren, Samantha and Georgia. All of whom will deeply miss her.
After a short career at Moore & Wright, Harold's career brought them to Ontario where they lived in Sudbury, Lively and Copper Cliff as well as a six year stint in Indonesia. Kathleen moved to Richmond Hill to be closer to her sons after Harold passed away. She was an active member of the Emmanuel Anglican Church. She loved to play bridge, sing, dance, travel, shop and tell stories. Throughout her life Kathleen met and cherished many friends.
Kathleen received exceptional care and attention throughout the three years at Sunrise of Richmond Hill. We thank all the staff for their loving care. Kathleen will be truly missed by all who knew her.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00am on Monday May 27, 2024 at Emmanuel Anglican Church, 15 Mackay Drive, Richmond Hill with a Reception and Celebration of Kathleen's life to follow immediately after the mass at the church hall.
